The program will assist participants in determining whether to throw their hat in the ring.\n\n \n\nThe Chamber is a non-partisan\, business association which does not endorse\, or support candidates for elected office. However\, the Chamber believes strongly in the principles of good government and hopes to increase the number of qualified candidates who are committed to advancing our community.\n\n \n\nDuring the three sessions participants will meet with current and former elected officials and community advocates to learn about the process of running for local elected office. The program will cover many of the major steps in running for office\, and how to become better equipped to serve as a candidate\, and elected official.\n\n \n\nTuition is $100 per person which includes all sessions\, printed materials and Graduation Reception.
