To achieve the U.S. Chamber&rsquo\;s public policy goals\, Kevin cultivates and maintains legislative\, political\, media and grasstops resources throughout Illinois\, Indiana\, Kentucky\, Michigan\, Ohio\, and Pennsylvania.

\n Kevin leads the U.S. Chamber&rsquo\;s efforts to strengthen its relationships with Members of Congress through member businesses\, associations\, and local and state chambers of commerce across the region. | \n \n \n \n | \n | \n | \n \n \n \n \n  | \n \n \n Kevin Shimp is a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio\, and currently serves as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce&rsquo\;s General Counsel and Director of Labor &\; Legal Affairs. In this role\, Kevin works with legislators\, Ohio Chamber members\, and government officials to advance the Ohio Chamber&rsquo\;s pro-business agenda. He specializes in workers compensation\, civil justice reforms\, and employment law issues.
