Considered the premier provider of in-home care for seniors and other adults, Comfort Keepers® got its start in the Miami Valley, more than a decade ago. Kelsi Skabla, owner of the Springfield Comfort Keepers office, provides along with her team services that many of her clients need—besides non-medical care—help with the activities of daily living through services like meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing and companionship to name a few.


Their children, busy with work and family, weren’t always available to assist them. Kris felt that with the help of a reliable, quality in-home care provider these individuals could continue living safely and healthfully in their own homes.


Today this proves true in more than 700 Comfort Keepers locations across the U.S. and other countries—including the four Miami Valley/Greater Dayton area Comfort Keepers offices owned and operated by Kris. Our exceptional caregivers, whom we call Comfort Keepers®, serve clients and their families as trusted partners, providing a wide range of high-quality in-home care services tailored to each individual’s specific needs—from companionship and home to personal care and technology solutions, to respite care to relieve family caregivers.
